PM, HM credited for Stronger Co-op Movement: Sanghani

IFFCO Chairman Dileep Sanghani on Monday said the enthusiastic participation in Cooperative Week across the country reflects the growing strength, unity and expanding reach of India’s cooperative movement.

He said the Ministry of Cooperation has given a new direction to the sector over the past five years, bringing national federations, state-level institutions and grassroots cooperatives together under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Sahkar Se Samriddhi’.

Sanghani said cooperatives have long played a vital role in empowering farmers, strengthening rural communities and contributing to the nation’s socio-economic development. The overwhelming response to Cooperative Week, he added, demonstrates the renewed spirit of cooperation and the sector’s collective commitment to inclusive growth and rural prosperity.

He expressed confidence that stronger collaboration among cooperative institutions would further enhance farmers’ welfare, create new livelihood opportunities and help build a more prosperous, self-reliant and resilient India through the cooperative model.
