Parmar re-elected Chairman of Kaira based Amul

Ramsinh Parmar has been re-elected chairperson of Anand-based Kaira District Milk Marketing Association, popularly called Amul.  Congress MLA Rajendrasinh Parmar was elected as vice-chairman of Amul, which is one of the milk unions of GCMMF.

It bears recall that Parmar is also the Chairman of GCMMF, which is the federation of more than 18 milk unions in the state. Parmar could get this coveted post last year after he finally said goodbye to Congress and joined BJP.

On his election as Chairman of GCMMF last year, Indian Cooperative wrote in these columns “Ramsinh Parmar- the man who fought BJP all his life could finally become the chairman of the pride of cooperatives in the country-GCMMF (popularly known as Amul)-only after breaking free of Congress fold and embracing BJP.”
