Odisha’s dairy cooperative sector has reached a significant milestone, with the Odisha State Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation Ltd. (OMFED) recording its highest-ever turnover and net profit in 2025-26.

Sharing the achievement on social media, the Ministry of Cooperation hailed OMFED’s performance, noting that the federation posted a record turnover of Rs 1,036.82 crore and a net profit of Rs 10.23 crore during the financial year.

The Ministry attributed the impressive growth to operational reforms, infrastructure expansion and farmer-centric initiatives undertaken by the state dairy cooperative.

OMFED, the apex dairy cooperative in Odisha, has been steadily expanding its milk procurement network, processing infrastructure and market presence across the state.

The Ministry described OMFED’s success as a model of how reforms and member-focused policies can drive sustainable growth in the cooperative sector.
