The Odisha State Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation (OMFED) has added another significant achievement to its journey, being awarded the Best Performing Co-operative in the Dairy Sector at the 72nd All India Cooperative Week – 2025.
The award was conferred by the Cooperation Department, Government of Odisha, recognising OMFED’s sustained commitment to quality, transparency, and the empowerment of dairy farmers across the state.
The honour marks a proud moment for the federation, which has played a pivotal role in strengthening Odisha’s dairy economy and ensuring a steady livelihood for thousands of rural milk producers.
Over the years, OMFED has expanded its network, modernised processing facilities, and introduced new quality-focused initiatives that have significantly enhanced consumer trust.
