Farmers in Jajpur district in Odisha have complained that many PACS secretaries have swindled farmers money while transferring the govt. farm loan waiver benefits to individual beneficiaries, reports Odisha Post.
The farmers’ allegation is that PACS have not provided them with any loans over the last three years.
The Registrar of Cooperative Societies has directed his subordinate officials to conduct an investigation in the matter and act against the erring functionaries.
