Odisha govt to monitor sale of co-ops’ assets

The Odisha government has formed a committee to permit the sale of immovable assets of cooperative societies, reports media outlets of Odisha.

The committee has been formed under the direction of Co-operation Minister Atanu Sabyasachi Naik with the principal secretary of the department and other senior officials as its members.

The main purpose of the committee is to examine proposals regarding the sale of assets and send them to the government for approval.
