The BJP has slammed the Odisha Government for interfering in cooperative bodies thereby threatening the very existence of the cooperative movement in the State, reports Pioneer.
The BJP has alleged that the ruling party BJD leaders have taken over all the 17 district Cooperative Central Banks and converted them into cesspools of corruption.
The opposition party has called for a thorough auditing of all the 17 district cooperative central banks.
The BJP has also demanded that whistle blowers in the cooperative dept should not be punished.
