No local trains for co-op employees

The Bombay High Court has dismissed the petition filed by the Cooperative Bank Employees Union, in which they asked the court to allow the employees of cooperative banks to travel through local trains, according to media reports.

Seeing the present situation, the court has dismissed the demand of the Union. The case came for hearing on Tuesday.

The petitions argued that cooperative employees come under the essential services, and they be allowed to avail the benefit.
