In a step aimed at strengthening education and skills in the cooperative sector, the National Institute of Post Harvest Technology has been affiliated with Tribhuvan Cooperative University. The move aligns with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to promote “Sahkar se Samriddhi” and is being driven under the leadership of Cooperation Minister Amit Shah.

The affiliation is expected to integrate modern education, technical expertise, and skill development into the cooperative ecosystem, particularly benefiting rural sectors. It marks an important milestone in linking academic institutions with cooperative frameworks to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Officials view this development as a step toward empowering farmers, improving post-harvest management, and building a more robust rural economy through knowledge-driven cooperative growth.
