The Madhya Pradesh Cooperative Department has said its partnership with the National Dairy Development Board is beginning to yield tangible results, strengthening the state’s push towards a “White Revolution” through the cooperative model.

They noted that the agreement, aimed at expanding the reach of the Sanchi brand and modernising the dairy ecosystem, is translating into rapid grassroots expansion. During 2025-26, as many as 1,752 new milk cooperative societies have been formed, significantly boosting farmer participation in organised dairy networks.

The department further highlighted that the initiative has helped revive inactive societies, improve milk procurement systems, and enhance infrastructure at the village level.

Daily milk collection in the state has seen a steady rise, supported by the installation of bulk milk coolers and improved logistics.
