The National Cooperative Exports Limited (NCEL) and Bharatiya Beej Sahakari Samiti Limited (BBSSL) conducted a capacity-building session for officers of the Bihar Cooperation Department under the LINAC-NCDC programme, focusing on strengthening the cooperative sector’s participation in international trade.

The session highlighted opportunities for cooperative institutions to enter export markets, expand membership and develop sustainable pathways to global business.

Officials were briefed on the potential of cooperatives to leverage collective strength, improve market access and explore new opportunities for exporting agricultural and allied products.

The programme also focused on the role of cooperative institutions in building stronger supply chains and connecting grassroots-level producers with international markets.

The session formed part of ongoing efforts to build the capabilities of officials and cooperative stakeholders and promote greater awareness of export opportunities through India’s cooperative ecosystem.
