The National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) has been recognised as the Best Cooperative Financial Institution under the category of Best Cooperative Development Financial Institution at the National Efficiency Awards Ceremony organised by the National Federation of Cooperative Sugar Factories Limited.
The award was presented during the National Sugar and Bio-Energy Conclave and National Efficiency Awards Ceremony in the presence of senior Union ministers, sugar-sector leaders and representatives of cooperative federations from across the country.
Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari presented the prestigious award to NCDC. Krishan Pal Gurjar, Union Minister of State for Cooperation, and Gurmeet Singh Khuddian, Punjab Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, along with other dignitaries and representatives from sugar federations, were also present.
The recognition marks a significant moment for NCDC and highlights its role in supporting cooperative development and strengthening financial institutions across the cooperative sector.
