NCDC MD visits Gujarat’s Kheti Bank, boosts Co-op Vision

In a significant boost to Gujarat’s cooperative banking sector, National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) Managing Director and Additional Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India, Pankaj Kumar Bansal, visited the head office of Gujarat’s Kheti Bank in Ahmedabad on Wednesday. He was accompanied by NCDC Deputy Managing Director Rohit Gupta.

On the occasion, Kheti Bank Chairman Dolar Kotecha extended a warm welcome to the visiting dignitaries.

The visit focused on reviewing the Bank’s digital transformation initiatives, farmer-centric lending models, and governance reforms aimed at strengthening the cooperative credit ecosystem in Gujarat.

The delegation held detailed discussions with senior officials on expanding long-term agricultural finance, enhancing transparency, and accelerating technology adoption within the cooperative framework.

The interaction underscored the importance of modernizing cooperative institutions to make them more resilient, efficient, and farmer-focused.

The visit reinforced the shared commitment toward the national vision of “Sahkar Se Samriddhi”, inspiring the entire Kheti Bank team to further advance cooperative excellence and rural prosperity across the state.
