The NCDC Regional Office, Bhubaneswar organised the NCDC Awards for Cooperative Excellence and Merit–2025 for the State of Odisha, recognising outstanding contributions made by cooperative societies across the state.
Pradeep Bal Samanta, Minister of State for Cooperation, Handloom & Textiles, graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest. On this occasion, Rajesh Prabhakar Patil, IAS, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Government of Odisha, and Siddhartha Das, IAS, Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Odisha, were also present.
During the event, five cooperative societies from Odisha were felicitated for their exemplary performance, innovation, and impact at the grassroots level. The awards highlighted the role of cooperatives in promoting economic development and empowering communities in the state.
Abhijeet Kulkarni, Regional Director, NCDC Bhubaneswar, thanked the dignitaries and congratulated the award-winning societies. He emphasised NCDC’s continued commitment to strengthening the cooperative movement in Odisha.
