In a significant move to enhance professional excellence in India’s cooperative sector, the National Council for Cooperative Training (NCCT) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Monday at the NCCT Headquarters in New Delhi.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Smt. Minu Shukla Pathak, IRS, Secretary, NCCT, CA Pankaj Shah, Chairman, Cooperation and NPO Committee, ICAI, and senior officials from both organisations.

The partnership aims to strengthen institutional capacity through a range of collaborative initiatives, including joint training and capacity-building programmes, curriculum and content development, faculty and subject matter expert development, optimal utilisation of infrastructure and digital platforms, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

The collaboration is expected to enhance professional competencies within cooperative institutions and promote best practices in governance, finance and management.
