The National Cooperative Consumers Federation of India (NCCF) has held an initial meeting with representatives of Pulse Canada to explore potential areas of cooperation and strengthen communication between the two organisations.
The meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange information about their respective mandates, priorities and ongoing activities, while discussing possibilities for future collaboration.
According to the organisations, discussions focused on the importance of maintaining regular communication and sharing information on pulse production, market conditions and emerging developments in India and Canada.
The interaction assumes significance for the cooperative sector, given NCCF’s role in consumer-related activities and the importance of pulses in India’s food supply and agricultural markets. Continued dialogue could help both sides develop a better understanding of market trends and developments affecting the pulse sector.
Both organisations welcomed the constructive nature of the initial discussion and expressed their willingness to remain connected.
