Ahead of Cooperation Week, the National Cooperative Consumers’ Federation of India (NCCF) held discussions with the leadership of the Army Wives Welfare Association to explore collaborative initiatives aimed at supporting war widows, promoting women’s empowerment and creating sustainable livelihood opportunities.
The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the two organisations to enhance socio-economic support for the families of armed forces personnel. As part of the initiative, NCCF also gifted 2,000 medicinal plants to the Indian Army to contribute towards environmental sustainability and support efforts to create a greener Delhi.
NCCF said the engagement reflects its commitment to extending the cooperative movement’s benefits beyond traditional sectors and partnering with institutions working for social welfare, empowerment and sustainable development.
