The National Centre for Cooperative Education (NCCE), under the National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI), successfully conducted a three-day Leadership Development Programme for Chairpersons and Directors of Women Cooperatives across India from May 27 to 29, 2025, at its New Delhi campus.
The programme aimed to enhance leadership skills, governance capabilities, and cooperative management among women leaders. Participants engaged in interactive sessions covering cooperative principles, financial management, and strategies for community development.
On the concluding day, a group photograph was taken with NCUI President Dileep Sanghani, Chief Executive Dr. Sudhir Mahajan, and Deputy Chief Executive Mrs. Savitri Singh.
During the interaction, Sanghani encouraged the participants to take proactive roles in the cooperative sector, emphasizing the importance of women’s leadership in driving socio-economic change.
This initiative reflects NCUI’s commitment to empowering women in cooperatives, fostering inclusive growth, and strengthening the cooperative movement in India.
