NAFSCOB bestows awards on banks; PACS also felicitated

The apex body of state cooperative banks- Nafscob in its meeting held at Jaipur, Rajasthan on Tuesday gave away many awards to SCBs, DCCBs, PACS and ACSTIs in different categories.

A total of 15 and 16 awards were bestowed on the winners for the year 2020-21 and 2021-22 respectively.

These awards were given away by Principal Cooperation Secretary and Administrator Rajasthan State Cooperative Bank Shreya Guha, IFFCO Director Mangilal Danga and some others.

The performance awards for State Cooperative Banks (tier III) for the 2020-21 and 2021-22 were bestowed on Andhra Pradesh State Cooperative Bank, Telangana State Cooperative Bank and Odisha State Cooperative Bank.

On behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Cooperative Bank, its Person-in-charge Mallela Jhansi Rani and MD Shreenath Reddy took the award from dignitaries. Whereas, from Odisha State Cooperative Bank, its Chairman Prasad Dora and its Director Ambika Prasad Das and from Telangana State Cooperative Bank, its Chairman Konduru Ravinder Rao and MD Nethi Muralidhar received the awards.

Besides, the performance awards for State Cooperative Banks (tier II) for the year 2020-21, 2021-22 were bestowed on Meghalaya Cooperative Apex Bank, Kerala State Cooperative Bank, Andaman & Nicobar State Cooperative Bank and Nagaland State Cooperative Bank.

Similarly, Krishna District Cooperative Central Bank (First Prize), Karimnagar District Cooperative Bank (Second Prize) and Ahmedabad District Cooperative bank (Third Prize) won the performance award for DCCBs- 2020-21,whereas in the same category for the year 2021-22, the award were bestowed on Karimnagar, Kadapa, Ahmedabad, Chitradurga and Jaipur DCCBs.

On this occasion, a few PACS were also facilitated. for their best performance in 2020-21. The award winning PACS included M.Podaiyur, Tamil Nadu (First Prize) and The Thimiri Service Cooperative Bank, Kerala. Besides, for 2021-22, Nimoda Gram Sewa Sahakari Samiti which is linked to IFFCO and Varappetty Service Cooperative Bank, Kerala also got the prizes.

The awards were also given away to Agricultural Cooperative Staff Training Institutes and others.
