NAFCUB to hold 47th AGM today at NCUI Auditorium

The 47th AGM of the apex body of Urban Cooperative Banks-Nafcub kicks off its 47th Annual General Meeting today (Saturday) at the NCUI Auditorium. More than 200 delegates from Kashmir to Kanyakumari have sent their names to become a part of the event.

The Nafcub team is giving the final touches to the preparations and gearing up to welcome delegates. It is said that the maximum number of delegates will come from Maharashtra, Gujarat and Karnataka.

This AGM will be different in many ways in comparison to previous AGMs. In the last one year, many new reforms have come in the urban cooperative banking sector. Many long pending issues were resolved.

The discussion will also be held on National Urban Co-operative Finance and Development Corporation (NUCFDC), an NBFC, which will act as a catalyst for all Urban Cooperative Banks of the country, among other issues.

Meanwhile, the veteran cooperator and Nafcub Chairman Emeritus H K Patil who is Law and Parliament Affairs minister in Karnataka, will also join the AGM.
