NAFCARD: IFFCO-TOKIO pushes Co-op Insurance agenda

At the 2026 Board Meeting of NAFCARD in Ahmedabad, IFFCO-TOKIO General Insurance reinforced its commitment to expanding insurance coverage through the cooperative network. The meeting brought together Board Members and CEOs of Agricultural and Rural Development Banks (ARDBs) from across India.

Representing IFFCO-TOKIO, Milan Satishchandra Sanghvi (Executive Director), Vipul Gupta (Vice President – Bancassurance & Cooperatives), Anshul Arora (State Head, Gujarat), and Anik Mathur (State Vertical Incharge) engaged with stakeholders on strengthening rural insurance penetration.

Vipul Gupta underscored the critical role of insurance in safeguarding farmers and rural households against uncertainties.

He highlighted that deeper collaboration with ARDBs can unlock vast outreach potential, while also outlining key licensing norms, regulatory frameworks, and revenue opportunities for cooperatives.

Reaffirming its philosophy of “Sahakar se Samridhi,” IFFCO-TOKIO emphasized that insurance goes beyond products, it is a promise of security for those who sustain the nation, with cooperatives playing a pivotal role in this mission.
