The long-term financial assistance released by Nabard for banks including cooperative banks and small finance banks is Rs 3,495 crore, as against Rs 1,571 crore disbursed last year, reports Tribune News Service.
An amount of Rs 23,616 crore has been given as credit facility to many organizations including direct refinance assistance to cooperative banks.
A source clued up on the cooperative sector says Nabard is doing a great deal for the development of cooperatives in Haryana.
