Mumbai District Central Co-operative Bank Ltd. has strengthened its urban footprint with the inauguration of a new branch in Bandra (East), Mumbai, marking another step in its expansion strategy.

The branch was inaugurated by Anil Parab, Member of the Legislative Council, in a well-attended ceremony.

Senior leadership, including Chairman Pravin Darekar, Vice Chairman Siddharth Kamble, senior director Shivajirao Nalawade, and director-corporator Prakash Darekar, were present on the occasion. Board members and key officials, including Executive Director D. S. Kadam and Chief General Manager Sandeep Surve, also attended the event.

The gathering further saw the presence of Vitthalrao Bhosale, Chairman of the Maharashtra State Consumer Federation, along with bank staff and cooperative sector representatives.

Reaffirming its commitment to cooperative principles, the bank stated that the new branch will enhance access to transparent, reliable, and customer-centric banking services. The expansion aligns with its broader mission of promoting inclusive growth and strengthening financial outreach in urban areas.
