MP: Lokayukta police raids manager of a co-op Society

Madhya Pradesh Lokayukta police made a surprise raid on the residences of a Samiti manager of Cooperative Society, Rahatgarh for owning assets not commensurate with his income and found ‘45 land registries and 22 bank accounts from his residences, reports Free Press Journal.

A Lokayukta source says Samiti manager Ashok Kumar Dubey was getting a salary of Rs 11,500 per month and had assets out of proportion to his income. The total value of his properties is worth Rs 1.10 crore.

The Samiti manager is the first line service provider to the farmers giving fertilizers, seed and other things required for farming.
