The Minister of Cooperation, Amit Shah in a written reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday said his Ministry has initiated process for creating a National Cooperative database.
“Ministry has already started consultations with stakeholders on finalization of various parameters, procedures and process for inclusion in the database”, said Shah.
The proposed National Database may act as the main planning tool for Central Ministries, State Governments, Cooperative Federations, Co-operators and sectoral institutions like NABARD, etc. for cooperative sector, concluded Shah in his reply
