Lokmanya Multipurpose Cooperative Credit Society handed over the Lokmanya Coffee Table Book to Union Minister of State for finance Dr Bhagwat Karad during his trip to Pune.
The book captures the successful journey of the Lokmanya Society. On the occasion, Sushil Jadhav, Zonal Manager, Pune of Lokmanya Society, Vidyadhar Anaskar, Chairman, State Co-operative Council, Shrikant Badwe, Director, Badwe Engineering, and others were present.
During his trip to Pune, Karad also addressed the scores of local cooperators in a function organized by Pune Urban Cooperative Banks Association and assured to organize a meeting of RBI officials with the cooperators associated with the banking sector to resolve their issues.
A compilation of issues related to the Urban Cooperative Banking Sector was also given to Karad. It has been complied by CA Madhav Mate, Chairman, Pune Janata Sahakari Bank.
