Minister for Chemicals and Fertilisers Mansukh Mandaviya as saying Nano liquid urea should be promoted in place of conventional granular urea as the former is better, cheaper, convenient and could help the government in saving money of subsidy.
The union minister was interacting with farmers and owners of Prashan Mantri Kisan Samrudhi Kendras from around the country.
It needs recalling that in June 2021 fertiliser cooperative IFFCO rolled out Nano urea as an alternative to conventional urea. The IFFCO has so far set up three manufacturing plants to produce Nano urea.
