Maha farmers protest Singh’s presence

Maharashtra farmers in Vidharva and Marathwada have been furious about the way the govt. has been handling their problems.

Farmers vented their anger by raising slogans in defense of their demands when they saw union agriculture minister Radha Mohan Singh inaugurating a Mother dairy plant in the area reports Press Trust of India.

Undeterred by the protest, Radha Mohan Singh continued with his speech. Union minister Nitin Gadkari, Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and other state ministers were present at the event.

Chief Minister Fadnavis said Vidarbha and Marathwada will see a milk revolution in the future and all the closed dairy plants will be revived.
