Led by MD Kribhco observes Yoga Day

KRIBHCO a leading fertiliser cooperative in the country organized a yoga training programme on 21st June in Noida to commemorate the International Yoga Day. Led by its Managing Director Mr N Sambasiva Rao all its employees took part in it with great enthusiasm.

The cooperative issued a brief statement on the occasion offering its view of the great Indian contribution to the world.  ”Yoga is an ancient Indian physical, mental and spiritual practice that aims to transform man”, it said.

Congratulating Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi the release said “On 11 December, 2014, the United Nations General Assembly declared June 21st as the International Day of Yoga. The declaration came after the call for the adoption of June 21st as International Day of Yoga by Hon’ble Indian Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi during his address to UN General Assembly on September 27, 2014.”

MD Rao expressed happiness over the fact that it is being celebrated by the people of more than 170 countries by organizing the activities like yoga training, yoga camps, yoga competitions and so many activities to enhance the awareness about yoga benefits among common public all over the world.

“Regular yoga practice leads to a better mental, physical and intellectual health. It positively changes the lifestyle of the people and increases the level of well-being”, he added.
