Promoting women empowerment, a new branch of Lado Apni Bachat Ghar Yojana Mahila Cooperative Society (LABH Co-operative Society Ltd.) was inaugurated with great enthusiasm in Chaksu, Rajasthan on Republic Day.
The branch was formally inaugurated by the chief guest and Secretary of the institution, Smt. Monika Gupta, who cut the ribbon and hoisted the national flag. More than 300 women from the region participated in the programme, reflecting strong grassroots support and confidence in the cooperative movement.
After the customary prayers, a meeting was held to discuss financial empowerment of women, savings habits, and future plans of the cooperative. During the event, over 20 loan applications were filled on the spot. The sanctioned loan amounts will be distributed on January 30.
With the opening of this new branch, local women will gain direct access to organized savings and easy credit facilities. The initiative is expected to strengthen financial inclusion, self-reliance, and socio-economic development of women in the Chaksu region through the cooperative model.
