Kulkarni appointed MD of Kalyan Janata Sah Bank

Anant Kulkarni has been appointed as the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of one of the leading banks- Kalyan Janata Sahakari Bank in Maharashtra.

The bank Chairman CA Sachin Ambekar made the announcement in the recently convened a meeting of the board of directors of the bank.

Kulkarni has replaced Atul Khirwadkar, who resigned from the post several months back for taking the charge as the first CEO of National Urban Co-operative Finance and Development Corporation (NUCFDC), an NBFC.

Anant Kulkarni has been associated with the bank for the last 12 years and has held the post of General Manager for the last one year.

He has been working in the cooperative banking sector for the last 41 years. An expert and experienced in banking, Anant Kulkarni has previously worked as senior officer in Rajgurunagar Sahakari Bank, Janaseva Sahakari Bank Pune & Shree Sharada Sahakari Bank.

Kalyan Janata Bank, which is celebrating its golden jubilee year, has a total business of Rs. 5400 crores and has more than 60 thousand members, while a total of 43 branches are functioning in the state of Maharashtra and Gujarat.
