Versatile and amiable S S Yadav has been elevated to the post of Director (HR) by the Board meeting which chose Rajan Chowdhary as MD. An LSE graduate, Yadav has several accolades under his belt.
Earlier, Yadav worked as ED(HR) and Chief Executive Officer of a social development organization, Garmin Vikas Trust (GVT) established by Kribhco, which is working for livelihood improvement of poor and marginalized farmers particularly in tribal districts of 13 states.
Yadav is B. Tech by academics with degree in Electronics and Communications and belongs to Indian Engineering Services. Yadav has completed his Masters from the prestigious London School of Economics in Public Management. But more importantly, a constant smile on his face is his trademark, said one of friends on lighter vein.
18 years of his total 27 years in Government of India were devoted to working at various senior positions in the telecom sector. He has been instrumental in implementing projects in the sector including planning and implementation of GSM mobile networks in Ghaziabad and Noida.
He has also worked on deputation as Director in National Disaster Management Authority. Later he joined as Director in Election Commission of India. During his tenure with ECI, he was credited with playing a key role in setting up India International Institute for Democracy and Election Management.
