As part of the Cooperation Week being observed from June 29 to July 6, 2026, to commemorate five years of the Ministry of Cooperation, the Kota Central Cooperative Bank Ltd. celebrated ‘Krishak Samman Diwas’ (Farmers’ Day) at its head office in Kota.

Addressing the gathering, Additional District Collector Virendra Singh Yadav underscored the vital role of cooperatives in rural development and urged farmers to adopt natural farming while leveraging government schemes through cooperative institutions.

NABARD DDM Ram Prasad Sharma highlighted the significance of PACS computerization and the “Sahkar Se Samriddhi” vision.

Bank Managing Director Balvinder Singh Gill announced that 70 out of the district’s 170 cooperative societies with over 100 borrowing members achieved 100% loan recovery, while all six societies under Bapawar branch also recorded complete recovery.

He said the achievement helped Kota Central Cooperative Bank secure the top position in Rajasthan in loan recovery.

Progressive farmers, cooperative leaders and branch officials were felicitated for their outstanding contribution to strengthening the cooperative movement.
