Ltd. has launched SAMPOORNA, an integrated Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) compliance programme exclusively designed for Urban Cooperative Banks (UCBs), aiming to help them strengthen customer data protection and address regulatory requirements under the DPDP Act, 2023.
Announced in Mumbai on the occasion of Vijayadashmi, the initiative brings together professional consulting, policy alignment, technology solutions, data security and specialised legal expertise under a single programme.
As Urban Cooperative Banks increasingly adopt digital banking services, safeguarding customers’ personal information, managing consent and strengthening data governance have become important priorities. SAMPOORNA seeks to provide banks with a structured and practical roadmap to address these emerging challenges.
The programme rests on five key pillars: consulting and gap assessment; policy addendums and corrections; ConsentALL, KGreen’s data discovery and consent lifecycle management platform; Kvault, offering secure backup and certified data erasure; and Virtual Data Protection Officer (DPO) services backed by on-demand legal expertise.
Commenting on the launch, KGreen CEO Yogesh Valunjkar, former Director of Dombivli Nagari Sahakari Bank, said SAMPOORNA has been conceptualised specifically to help Urban Cooperative Banks navigate their DPDP compliance journey through an integrated approach.
He said the objective is to simplify compliance and make it affordable while enabling banks to strengthen data governance, protect customer information and build greater trust in an increasingly digital banking environment.
Unlike standalone documentation-based approaches, SAMPOORNA aims to help UCBs establish sustainable practices covering personal data management, consent governance, information security and privacy accountability.
