Kerala to ponder over Central laws’ impact on co-ops

A meeting of the association of primary agriculture cooperative societies will consider the impact of various Central laws on the cooperative sector in Kerala, reports a news outlet.

Kerala Cooperation Minister Kadakampally Surendran has urged Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan to hold an all-party meeting to discuss the matter.

An 11-member permanent committee headed by the Registrar of Cooperative Societies would be formed for studying the impact of the frequent changes in the Income Tax Act.
