In a strategic move to strengthen its recovery mechanism, Kerala State Cooperative Bank has inaugurated its Legal Cell Office at Akshara Mandiram, Marine Drive in Ernakulam. The facility was inaugurated by Bank President P Mohanan Master.
Speaking on the occasion, Vice President T V Rajesh and Chief Executive Officer Jorty M Chacko highlighted the importance of streamlining legal and recovery processes.
In his address, Mohanan Master emphasized that efficient recovery operations are essential for the bank’s sustainable growth. He noted that the establishment of a centralized legal cell will not only enhance coordination in recovery proceedings but also ensure that eligible reliefs reach common borrowers in a timely manner.
The event witnessed the presence of key officials including Directors T. C. Shibu and Adv. V. Salim, Executive Director Roy Abraham, Chief General Manager Anil Kumar A, General Manager Jolly John, BPCC/GAD General Manager Dr. R. Shivakumar, and Chief Law Officer Pushkarakshan V. P.
The initiative marks a significant step towards improving operational efficiency and customer support in the cooperative banking sector.
