Karnataka Fed observes Women’s Day across state

International Women’s day was celebrated by Karnataka State Souharda Federal Cooperative Ltd at four of its regional offices in Bengaluru, Mysuru, Belagavi & Kalaburgi.

In Bengaluru the celebration was inaugurated at “Souharda Sahakari Soudha” by Smt. Savitha V Amarashetty, President, Karnataka Silk Board, and was presided over by the director of Karnataka State Souharda Federal Cooperative Ltd., Smt. Saraswathi N Ravi. Those present included Smt. H G Shobha Smt. Aruna Krishna Reddy, Smt. Bharathi Singh, and Sri. B S Gundurao, among others.

At the Kalburgi regional office, the international Women’s day was inaugurated by Gurunath Janthikar, Director, KSSFCL and presided by Dr. Pandith Belamagi. Sanjeev Mahajan and Y T Patil were present on the occasion along with others.

In the Mysuru Regional office the program was inaugurated by Smt. Malathi, Joint Director, Department of welfare and the special invitee was Sri Appanna, President of forestry. Smt. Chikkamma Basavaraju, President Bhalabavana, the Government of Karnataka, and the author K Lavanya Prabha were the chief guests.

At the Belagavi Regional office the program was inaugurated by Smt. P V Sneha, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Crime and traffic division, Belagavi and was chaired by Smt. Saraswathi N Ravi.

Those present in Belagavi included Lakshmana Maruthi Pawar, Smt. Veena Jagadish Kavatagimatha, Mangala Metagudda, Shambhavi Ashwathpur, Dr. Lakshmi Kedareshwara, Rashmi Deshpande, and Srikanth Baruve, among others.
