Janata Nagri Sahakari Pratyay Sanstha in news

Janata Nagri Sahakari Pratyay Sanstha in Nagpur donated Rs17 lakh to organizations which are working for the welfare of society. The amount is intended as an encouragement to their good work, reports Times of India.

A special function was held to hand over cheques to 21 organizations.

Nagpur west MLA Sudhakar Deshmukh, corporators Sanjay Bangale, Sunil Hiranwar and Ujwala Sharma, head of Nagpur unit of RSS Rajesh Loya, Dr Dilip Gupta, secretary of Janata Sahakari Sanstha Keshav Parai, treasurer Dattatray Khare and convener Sudhir Sahastrabuddhe were present on the occasion.

Established in 1983, the cooperative society has shown progress with its deposits doubling in five years.
