IFFCO Chairman Dileep Sanghani, who has been re-elected to the Board of Directors of the Germany-based International Raiffeisen Union (IRU), said he would work to take India’s vision of ‘Sahakar Se Samriddhi’ to the global cooperative movement.
Sanghani has secured another term on the IRU Board, this time representing IFFCO. Earlier, he represented India on the Board through the National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI). Following IFFCO’s admission as a member of the International Raiffeisen Union, he has now been elected as IFFCO’s representative.
Speaking to Indian Cooperative after his re-election, Sanghani said India’s cooperative movement has emerged as a global model under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the guidance of Union Cooperation Minister Amit Shah.
He said he would strive to showcase India’s successful cooperative practices at the international level and promote the vision of ‘Sahakar Se Samriddhi’ across the global cooperative fraternity.
After his election, Sanghani visited the Dan Maharaj Devasthan in Chalala, where he offered prayers and sought the blessings of Pujya Valkubapu.
Amreli Dairy Chairman Ashwinbhai Savaliya, District Cooperative Purchase and Sale Union Chairman Jayantibhai Panasuriya, Jyotsnaben Bhagat, Dhirubhai Vala, and several other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
