Income Tax Department has surveyed Indore-based Mahila Co-operative bank and has expressed suspicion about a huge sum deposited in the bank through over 100 bank accounts opened after demonetization, reports Hitavada.
According to the report, the survey exercise is still continuing and incriminating documents are being impounded.
Meanwhile, Mahanagar Nagrik Sahakarita Bank that belongs to Waswani Group is also being surveyed. A BJP leader and others associated with the group are also under the scanner.
