Sahakar Bharati Patron Satish Marathe has been appointed as the Vice-Chairman of the Governing body of the newly rechristened Laxmanrao Inamdar National Academy for Cooperative Research & Development (LINAC).
It bears recall that once a decrepit NCDC training centre in Gurugram in Haryana , the place has undergone an overhaul to emerge as a Centre of excellence in cooperative training. The aim is to convert Laxmanrao Inamdar National Academy for Co-operative Research and Development into a world class institution, said Marathe earlier.
Laxman Rao Inamdar, after whose name this institute has been rechristened and which was inaugurated by RSS Sarsanghchalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat was the founder of Sahakar Bharati.
The first meeting of newly constituted governing body will be held on Friday at NCDC headquarter located in Delhi.
Shobhana Pattanayak, Secretary, Ministry of Agri, CoOp & Farmers Welfare, New Delhi will preside over the governing body and is the chairman.
