IFFCO’s newly appointed Marketing Director Yogendra Kumar continues to get greetings from across the states even though more than a week has passed after his elevation.
Latest in the series of greeters is Bihar Co-op Marketing Federation (BISCOMAUN) Chairman Sunil Kumar Singh who greeted Kumar on his promotion by offering him shawl and flower.
Sharing his congratulatory message on social media, Sunil said “Honoring Yogendra Kumar, the newly appointed Marketing Director of IFFCO with Shawl. Kumar will fulfill IFFCO Managing Director Dr U S Awasthi’s 2020 vision”, he added.
Earlier, Officers’ Union President Jeetendra Tiwary organized a small get-together to honour Kumar on his promotion. The event was attended by a small group of IFFCO officials including Cooperative Relation officer Mr Tarun Bhargava.

Talking informally the officials expressed their happiness over MD’s choice of Kumar for the top post. “His is not a meteoric rise but he has evolved as a peoples’ choice”, they said without wanting to be quoted.
It bears recall that the decision to promote Kumar as Marketing Director was taken in the last board meeting. Talking to Indian Cooperative earlier, Kumar had promised to fulfill the dream of IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi in matters of fighting exploitation of farmers by fake agencies and substandard products.
