IFFCO Managing Director K.J. Patel said the cooperative’s responsibility goes beyond fertiliser production and is firmly centred on serving farmers and the nation, while ensuring timely availability of inputs and promoting technology-driven agriculture. Patel was speaking during his visit to the IFFCO Phulpur unit, where he undertook a detailed review of production and infrastructure.
During the inspection, the Managing Director reviewed key facilities including the urea-2 plant, cooling tower expansion, ammonia storage tank and the nano fertiliser unit, where a 33 KW yard project was also inaugurated. He later chaired a board-level meeting and emphasised maintaining high plant reliability, strict adherence to statutory and legal requirements, and uncompromising compliance with safety standards.
Patel also visited the offices of IFFCO Employees’ Association and IFFCO Officers’ Association, where he was accorded a welcome. Senior officials and unit heads accompanied him throughout the visit, which reaffirmed IFFCO’s commitment to strengthening operations at Phulpur and supporting farmers through efficient supply and modern agricultural practices.
