IFFCO: MD motivates young engineers of Kandla Unit

On a trip to IFFCO’s Kandla Unit in Gujarat, IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi interacted with the young engineer graduates and motivated them to do well in life. Himself an engineer graduate of sixties, Awasthi said he profits from interacting with these young boys.

Later MD tweeted about the meeting “Interacted with young #Engineering Graduates at #Kandla unit. Good fruitful discussion. My best wishes to all of you.”

Given to the habit of visiting IFFCO units on regular basis to take stock of the situation and motivate the  staff-members, MD said that in his every plant visit, he makes it a point to meet and discuss various aspects of working of the plant and other related points with the staff-members and especially the young engineers.

It also goes to the credit of Dr Awasthi that strikes and close-downs- curse of modern industrial existence has become a history after he took over in the co-op behemoth long long ago. And understanding this is not tough as he makes it a point to encourage participative management.

Impacted by the MD’s attitude of positive approach towards the employees, it is no wonder Awasthi walks away collecting blessings and good wishes from them in every such meetings. In Kandla also, representatives of Union and Association felicitated the MD. MD later said “we all are part of one family.”

In his visit to Kandla, Awasthi also inaugurated the renovated IFFCO Club Building at Udaynagar township. The Club acts as a Family recreation centre promoting physical, emotional, mental and social development, tweeted the MD.
