The Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative (IFFCO) convened its 75th Quarterly Review Meeting at its head office, IFFCO Sadan, in New Delhi, bringing together senior leadership from across the organisation to take stock of performance and set priorities for the coming period.
IFFCO Managing Director K J Patel, in a message shared on social media, said the meeting would serve as a comprehensive platform to review the cooperative’s overall performance and reinforce coordination across its wide operational network. The forum brought together leaders from IFFCO’s production plants, state marketing offices and accounts functions, reflecting what Patel described as the collective strength and unity of the IFFCO family.
According to the statement, the review will cover a broad range of critical areas, including sales and marketing, plant production, operations, budgetary performance, human resources and other key aspects relevant to the fertiliser and allied sectors. The performance of IFFCO’s associates and subsidiaries will also be examined as part of the exercise, underlining the integrated nature of the cooperative’s operations.
Patel emphasised that the quarterly reviews go beyond assessing figures and outcomes. They are intended as forums for mutual learning, aligning organisational efforts and reinforcing a culture of collaboration and accountability across departments and regions. By encouraging open interaction among participants, the meeting aims to strengthen internal processes and improve execution on the ground.
The agenda of the 75th review meeting also includes deliberations on themes emerging from the forthcoming “Chintan Shivir” proposed to be organised by the Department of Fertilizers. These discussions are expected to help IFFCO align its strategies with evolving policy directions and sectoral priorities.
With a shared focus on purpose, teamwork and commitment, the quarterly review meeting is expected to further strengthen IFFCO’s organisational resolve. Patel noted that such collective engagements renew the cooperative’s dedication to serving farmers and contributing to national goals with efficiency, responsibility and excellence.
