IFFCO flags off 3 day train journey for farmers

Aditya Yadav one of the IFFCO board directors and chairman, Pradeshik Cooperative Federation Uttar Pradesh sent farmers off on a three day IFFCO’ train journey from Charbagh Railway Station in Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh.

On the occasion, Adtiya Yadav praised the efforts of IFFCO and called upon farmers to gather as much information and knowledge about farming and farming technology as possible during the journey, he said.

There are 500 farmers on the three day journey and they could together learn a great deal about various aspects of farming, read a wall post on FB posted by IFFCO media head Harshendra Vardhan Singh.

IFFCO Marketing Director A.K.Roy who was also present on the occasion said “during this journey farmers will get information on seeds, fertilizers, insurance and other agriculture- related information.”

IFFCO point person in UP Yogendra Yadav who has been recently promoted to Joint GM and shifted to headquarters lauded the railway administration and said farmers will also be provided with information on IFFCO’s various programmes.
