IFFCO election: It may not be cakewalk for Praveen Reddy

The re-election for the existing director from Andhra Pradesh A. Praveen Reddy may not be easy this time, if sources are to be believed. They point to huge number of new delegates who may opt for some green horse hitherto unknown.

The constituency is composed of Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Goa and it is likely to witness interesting fights.

Over half a dozen candidates including Ashok Jagtap from Aurangabad, Manmohan Kalantri from Bheed, Sanjay Pawar from Jalgaon, Hire Advay from Nashik, Devendra Reddy from Telangana and some others are expected to slug it out in the vote scheduled for 10th May from the constituency”, Sources say.

Sources add that, there are over 77 RGB members from this constituency and most of them are the newly elected RGB members. Trimbakrao G Srisath the outgoing director of IFFCO from Maharashtra who earlier lost the RGB election is no longer in the race.

There are 39 delegates from Maharashtra, 15 from Telangana, 22 are Andhra Pradesh and 1 from Goa. Sources say Reddy is now- a- days busy wooing voters and urging other candidates not to fight the IFFCO election.
