An IFFCO delegation met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath on June 6 to discuss the role of alternative and smart fertilisers in the current global scenario, along with fertiliser availability and distribution in the state.
The delegation included IFFCO Deputy Chairman Balveer Singh, Marketing Director Dr. Yogendra Kumar and State Marketing Manager Yatendra Tevetia. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the importance and necessity of nano fertilisers and other innovative agricultural inputs.
The Chief Minister also showed keen interest in the field trials and demonstrations of nano fertilisers being carried out across various parts of Uttar Pradesh and sought detailed information regarding their progress and impact on farming practices.
The discussions additionally focused on smart fertilisers such as bio-fertilisers and bio-decomposers, with emphasis on sustainable agriculture, improved soil health and enhancing farm productivity through modern agri-input technologies.
