The International Cooperative Alliance Asia and Pacific (ICA-AP) participated in the International Cooperative Women’s Conference 2026 held in Nepal.
Representing ICA-AP, Ms. Nitya Shukla shared regional perspectives and insights on advancing women’s leadership in cooperatives.
During her address, she highlighted the importance of creating inclusive governance structures, expanding opportunities for women in decision-making roles, and strengthening capacity-building initiatives within cooperative institutions.
