Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank increases interest rates on various deposit schemes.
For general consumers, interest rates have been increased by 0.30 and 0.50 percent whereas senior citizens and primary cooperative societies have also been given some relief.
The bank’s Managing Director Shravan Manta said that the management has decided to increase the interest rate on deposits for the customers.
In the general consumer category, interest will be payable at the rate of 5.00 percent to 5.30 percent on deposits of two to three years tenure. For three to five years and more, the interest rate will be increased from 5.00 percent to 5.50 percent.
